The All-on-Digital® concept provides a fully digital workflow for the fabrication of full-arch implant-supported prostheses. This lecture will review the integration of photogrammetry with intraoral scanning (IOS) to capture and merge implant, soft-tissue, and restorative data for the design and fabrication of implant-supported full-arch restorations.

Through lecture and clinical case presentations, participants will be guided through the clinical and laboratory steps of the All-on-Digital® workflow, from data acquisition and digital design to the milling or printing of an immediate provisional restoration and fabrication of the definitive prosthesis. Clinical applications, laboratory considerations, advantages, limitations, and potential sources of error will be discussed.

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

1. Describe the principles of photogrammetry and intraoral scanning (IOS) as they apply to full-arch implant-supported prostheses.
2. Identify the clinical and laboratory steps required to acquire, merge, and utilize digital data for the All-on-Digital® workflow.
3. Explain the digital design and fabrication process for milled or printed provisional restorations and definitive full-arch implant prostheses.
4. Evaluate the indications, advantages, limitations, and potential sources of error associated with a fully digital full-arch implant restorative workflow.

Biography:

Dr. Periklis Proussaefs is a prosthodontist and implant dentistry specialist, Founder and Director of the California Institute of Dental Education, and maintains a private practice limited to implant and prosthetic dentistry at Pacific Coast Implant Center in Ventura, California. He serves as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and has authored or co-authored more than 55 peer-reviewed scientific publications, with a particular emphasis on implant dentistry, bone grafting, and prosthetic rehabilitation. His academic work has received numerous distinctions, including the Judson C. Hickey Scientific Writing Award from the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry on two occasions, the Tylman Research Award from the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the Robert James Achievement Award from Loma Linda University. Dr. Proussaefs has developed and contributed to numerous surgical, prosthetic, and digital implant treatment techniques and has lectured extensively on implant dentistry, prosthodontics, bone grafting, digital workflows, and sedation. As a continuing education provider, he has trained dentists in advanced clinical techniques through the California Institute of Dental Education.
